    What You'll Do/Need

    The National Director of Sales is responsible for sales force effectiveness and leads functions essential to overall organizational growth and productivity.

     

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Lead the team sales representatives in developing and implementing sales organization objectives that appropriately reflect company business goals
    • Conduct margin analysis and implement strategy to maximize profitability while remaining true to the Xenith brand
    • Set quotas for our team sales channel and build a corresponding strategic road map for each rep to be able to achieve those goals
    • Work closely with Xenith’s marketing leadership to develop annual strategic and tactical sales plans that are consistent with – and supportive of – Xenith’s business development agenda
    • Responsible for ensuring there is clear and consistent alignment between Xenith’s fundamental brand promise and the experience the company delivers to its customers day to day
    • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
    • Maintain high caliber sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training team members
    • Build, lead and train a team, including both field sales reps and internal account managers
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
    • Work closely with Xenith leadership to establish a sales force training plan focused on developing and reinforcing critical sales competencies and Xenith core cultural values
    • Measure, report and optimize sales campaigns

     

    Requirements

     

    • 5 years of sales leadership experience
    • Strong and disciplined project management and process improvement capabilities
    • Experience with Salesforce or other customer management tools
    • Proven track record of launching new products and executing creative, integrated sales programs
    • Superb analytical skills
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team
    • Entrepreneurial spirit
    • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to build a rapport and influence and deepen relationships throughout the organization, especially with our field and internal sales teams

    • Ability to forge strong relationships with sales and marketing operations functions
    • Comfort working in a cross-functional and matrixed environment
    • Ability to converse at both tactical and strategic levels
    • Ability to excel at problem solving and a history of approaching problems in multiple ways
    • Ability to learn quickly and rapidly correlate new concepts to existing knowledge
    • Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal peers and foster cooperation in non-hierarchical relationships
    • Analytical mindset and the ability to identify, isolate and correct underperforming program elements
